Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to my GPX files?
They stay on your device. AuraReplay processes your ride right in your browser — that is where it is loaded, computed and rendered. It is never uploaded to our servers. Details are in the privacy policy (German).
Where are my rides stored?
In your browser's GPX shelf, on your device. With BACK UP you can pack the whole library into a single file at any time and load it again with RESTORE — for example after switching browsers or on a new machine.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge and Safari, on Mac and Windows. It looks best on a machine with decent graphics performance — the rendering happens on your side.
What does AuraReplay cost?
The first week is free. After that it is €5.90 per month or €34 per year, VAT included. Payment is handled securely by Stripe — we never see your card details.
I bought AuraGPX — how do I unlock AuraReplay?
Buying AuraGPX (iPhone or Android) includes 12 months of AuraReplay, counted from the purchase date in the store. On your computer open aurareplay.app/verbinden, in AuraGPX tap "Unlock AuraReplay" under Settings and scan the QR code (or type the code). The app proves the purchase with the store, and the studio opens on your computer by itself. On the phone it works straight from the app. New device or reinstall? Just connect again — the expiry date stays the same.
Do I need an account?
No. After your purchase you receive an activation link by e-mail — it opens the studio, done. No password, no profile.
How do I cancel?
On the cancellation page (German) — enter your e-mail, press the button, and your access runs until the end of the paid period. The confirmation arrives by e-mail. Details on withdrawal and terms are on the legal page (German).
What happens to my films after I cancel?
They are yours. Exported films and stills live on your device and stay there — independent of the subscription.
What is Personal Best?
You load a second GPX as your Personal Best — an earlier ride of yours or a friend's — and watch both together in the replay and in the exported film: who leads where, and where the gap grows.
